Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc. (AET) Announces Delivery of Lightweight
Internal Combustion Engine
Los Angeles - Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc. (AET) has announced
the delivery of a newly manufactured prototype OX2 engine to the University
of California Riverside. Bourns College of Engineering, Center for
Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT). The engine was built
by Stephen Manthey and Advanced Engine Technology Pty. of Australia.
The University is securing and establishing its testing and evaluation
process. Dyno testing is scheduled to begin in June 2000. As the engine
evaluation process proceeds, announcements by AET will be forthcoming.
AET has also announced that world renowned expert, Dr. Roberta Nichols
will represent the company in connection with the evaluation and testing
of the engine at CE-CERT. The founding Director of CE-CERT is Dr. Joseph
Norbeck. Drs. Nichols and Norbeck will be in charge of the OX2 Engine
Development Program and will handle the coordination of all engineering
and/or project development matters.
Listed alphabetically, AET's Board of Directors includes Mr. Murray
Bailey, Mr. Noel Holmes, Mr. George Hunt, Ms. Alexandria Phillips and
Mr. Carroll Shelby. In addition, Mr. Shelby has agreed to serve as
president of AET while the engine is being evaluated at the University.
Operational policies and decisions however will continue to be promulgated
by the Board of Directors.
AET has recently relocated its headquarters to 11150 W. Olympic Blvd.
