Advanced Engine Technologies Names John Luft as Vice President

LOS ANGELES,
July 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Engine Technologies (OTC Bulletin
Board: AENG), manufacturer of the revolutionary OX2 lightweight internal
combustion engine, has named John Luft as Vice President of Marketing
and Business Development.
In his new position, Mr. Luft is responsible for the day-to-day management
and operations of AET. These responsibilities include; Liaison between
the AENG's Board of Directors and the inventor, Steven Manthey, oversee
all development and test engineering, oversee SEC, legal, and corporate
matters, manage investor and shareholder relations, global brand development
and positioning, manage all sales, marketing, public relations and
advertising efforts. Mr. Luft reports directly to the AENG Board of
Directors.
Mr. Luft joins AENG after serving two years
at SkyNet Holdings, Inc. as Sr. Vice President of Global Marketing
and Sales and Business Development. During his tenure, he was responsible
for managing the company's global branding, planning launch strategies
for international markets and developing and implementing all of
SkyNet's advertising and promotional initiatives. Previously, Mr.
Luft spent 13 years with the Hilton Hotels Corporation. He served
at the world headquarters as Director of Global and Strategic Partnership & Product Development where he was responsible
for developing Hilton's "Hotel of the Future" project as
well as helping to bring to market such innovations as branded business
center kiosks, ConCierge Interactive, and virtual conferencing. Previously,
he spent seven years as Hilton's corporate director of U.S. Marketing.
Mr. Luft also worked for the Walt Disney Company as Director of Resorts/Attractions
Marketing at the Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort in Orlando, Florida.
In that capacity, Mr. Luft developed and executed the company's annual
marketing plan strategy. He was responsible for resort revenues, regional,
local, and national WDW Resort promotions and helped design and develop
the WDW Resort web site.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles,
Mr. Luft holds a bachelors degree in Marketing and Speech Communications.
Developed by Australian inventor Steve Manthey, the Advanced Engine
Technologies' OX2 engine Weighs just 125 pounds, employs only three
major moving parts, and is capable of producing the same torque as
a V8 engine found in larger automobiles.
Incorporated in 1996 to commercialize the OX2, Advanced Engine Technologies
owns patents for the engine and has undertaken prototype development
toward eventual commercialization.
